Peter Alena, DMD
Dr. Peter Alena is originally from Peachtree City, GA and graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science degree. After college, Dr. Alena spent a year working in a dental laboratory that focused on making crowns, bridges, and other dental prostheses. He continued his education at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry located in Louisville, KY, and earned both a Doctorate (DMD) and Master of Science in Oral Biology in 4 years. Dr. Alena then completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Louisville Hospital where he was able to expand his practice with more advanced procedures on medically compromised patients. The following year he worked as a general dentist in the Nashville metro area before moving to Indianapolis, IN to start his advanced endodontic training. Dr. Alena completed his endodontic residency at Indiana University School of Dentistry and obtained another Master of Science degree after successfully defending a thesis relating to the clinical use of buffered local anesthetics.
Dr. Alena is excited to serve the middle Tennessee community once again by providing high-quality endodontic care. In his free time, he enjoys running, watching hockey, tropical fish keeping, trying new restaurants, and spending time with his family and friends.
